What is in the past cannot be undone
What we went through (all of us) reveals different stories
What happened with our families good or bad made us who we are
today.
Being in foster care, in the beginning not knowing what was happening
nor the reason for being taken away for what was our reality into
somewhat better and experiencing a new environment
Though sad and not knowing who to trust make us think of what is
right and making decisions in early age helps us grow regardless of
our situation and sometimes having to forgo love to help break the
cycle.
Being a first generation and know what my mother went though I have
some understanding of why she did what she did and how hard it was
for her in every step, but I still wish things could have been different
so much.
Anyhow, my sister and I did break the cycle. Unfortunately, my two
older siblings are still working on themselves.
