Alicia Wyneken

Alicia is a Ph.D. student, and an Art M.F.A. student at Claremont Graduate University, Claremont in California. Her research in progress is a phenomenological dissertation which explores the sense of belonging in Nice, France, known as Nissa la Bella, and Martinique, known as la Madinina. She is a recent M.S. graduate in Psychology from Mount Saint Mary’s University, Los Angeles in California. Her thesis entailed Latina/o/x Foster Youth’s culture resiliency using an art-based qualitative study. Alicia also has an M.F.A from Antioch University, Los Angeles. Her thesis was a collection of poems entitled “Women in Glass.”
